Hilger Hammond, PC is pleased to announce that Aileen Leipprandt has been appointed as co-chair to the State Bar of Michigan Construction Law Committee.

The Construction Law Committee is a special subcommittee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar. The committee meets twice a year and discusses new developments in construction law as it relates to real property, including public, private and residential projects, alternative dispute resolution, and the construction lien act. The committee reviews and comments on proposed legislation affecting construction issues pertaining to real property.

Leipprandt practices in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation and construction law. She has represented a variety of clients in these areas, including developers, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties, manufacturers, governmental agencies, insurers, and suppliers. Aileen assists clients with transactional and litigation needs, including contract review, preparation, and negotiation, and pre-suit claims evaluation and facilitation.
