Kimberly Genther: Paralegal

Kimberly joined Hilger Hammond as a Paralegal in the fall of 2009.  She holds an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies and has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. She assists the attorneys in all aspects of their practice, including complex litigation and transactional matters.  

 

 

 

 

 



Karen Doster: Paralegal

Karen joined Hilger Hammond in the fall of 2015. She holds an Associate degree in Paralegal/Business Studies from Kalamazoo Community College. She has over 17 years of experience in many areas including labor and employment law, employment arbitration, civil rights, wrongful termination defense, worker's compensation claims and insurance defense. Karen's support services with Hilger Hammond include document management and trial preparation.

 

 

 




Sherry Miedema: Legal Assistant

Sherry utilizes her 20 years of experience in the legal field to provide comprehensive legal support to Hilger Hammond's complex commercial and real estate litigation practices. These support services include discovery, document management, records research, investigation and analysis. 

 

 

 



 

Lisa Schichtel: Accounting / Operations


Lisa joined Hilger Hammond in February of 2012 to manage the accounting and administrative duties for the firm. After receiving her business and accounting degrees from Aquinas College, she obtained over 20 years of experience in the accounting field, including 10 years working in the legal industry. Her responsibilities include all aspects of financial reporting and general office management. 

 

 

 


Lisa Palomino: Paralegal


Lisa joined Hilger Hammond in Fall of 2015. She has 30 years of experience in the areas of litigation including real estate, construction, riparian, bankruptcy, creditor' rights, banking, family law, municipal law and corporate law. Lisa holds a bachelor's degree from Kuyper College. She also has an associate's degree from Davenport in legal secretarial studies. She assists the attorneys in all aspects of their practice, including complex litigation and transactional matters.
