Aileen serves as general counsel to numerous players in the construction industry. In that role, she counsels clients on nearly every facet of construction law, including preparation and negotiation of complex, multi-million dollar construction contracts, managing delay and change order claims and disputes, addressing surety bond and lien claims, insurance coverage disputes, MIOSHA compliance, among a myriad of other issues.

A critical thinker and problem solver, she guides companies to meet their financial, legal, and relational goals. Aileen brings her intensity and focus to the courtroom if litigation becomes necessary. As a trusted mediator, Aileen objectively, constructively, and tenaciously guides parties to negotiated resolutions.

Aileen learned the value of hard work, honest business dealings, and creative problem-solving by working in her family’s hardware business from an early age. Aileen is an exercise and outdoor enthusiast, often embracing the challenges of an uphill run, a downhill ski slope, and a tiny green guarded by menacing bunkers.
